The 2.10 hectares vineyard was planted on 1973

Growing method: Organic, Biodynamic since 2012

Grape Variety : Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo and Pugnitello

Training system: spurred cordon

Hectare production: max 10 quintals of selected grape per hectare

Cluster selection: manual field selection plus manual cellar selection

Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel tank; maceration on the skins for about 10 days

Ripening period: 18 months in french oak barrels of 250 and 400 lt ; Bottle ageing: at least 12 months

Bottle production on 2011 vintage: 1300 of 750 ml bottle

Produced only in the best vintages
